we spent a delightful day hiking up the mountain before heading down into town. Some lovely flowers on the way. Birds singing. The trees so green now. We went to a Mexican restaurant for lunch. We got shrimp, fish, pork and cactus tacos. Very tasty. A strawberry malt frap to share for dessert. Yummy. Finished checking out the visitor center in the old Fordyce Bath House. Very interesting. Beautiful building. Then a pleasant hike, except for the steep start out of town, back to the campground. Lots of panels along some of the trails and in town explaining the history of the area.
